Dr Tan graduated from MAHSA University with a degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2016 and was also the merit award recipient in Conservative Dentistry. 

Prior to his graduation, he served as a dental officer in the ministry of health and then moved on to private practice since 2018.

Dr Tan has also co-authored two published research articles namely “Comparative evaluation of apically extruded debris during root canal instrumentation using two Ni-Ti single file rotary system: An in vitro study” and “The relationship between the lip length and lip line in a Malaysia population: A cross-sectional study” in The Journal of Conservative Dentistry and Dental, Oral and Craniofacial Research, respectively.

With working experiences in a dental laboratory, Dr Tan is passionate in restorative, esthetic, and implant dentistry to mimic a natural smile. 

Dr Tan also believes in holistic dentistry by treating the mouth as a whole to achieve optimum functionality, social confidence, and ultimately a better quality of life.
