Dr. Woon Kok Chin is an Orthodontist with over 40 years of experience in the field. She completed her orthodontic graduate training program at the University of Washington, obtaining her Certificate of Orthodontics and Masters of Science in Dentistry in 1979. 

Dr. Woon is a graduate of the National University of Singapore, earning her Bachelor in Dental Surgery degree in 1973. She is registered as a Specialist in Orthodontics in the National Specialist Register, Malaysia.

From 1974 to 1992, Dr. Woon was a Lecturer, then Associate Professor, in the Department of Children's Dentistry and Orthodontics at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. 

She then established her own orthodontic clinic limited to orthodontics in 1992. Despite starting her private practice, she continued to share her expertise by teaching post-graduate orthodontic students in the Graduate Orthodontic Course at the University of Malaya as a part-time lecturer until 2016.

Dr. Woon is a respected member of various professional bodies. She is the founding and first President of the Malaysian Association of Orthodontists and is now a life member of both the Malaysian Dental Association and The Academy of Medicine, Malaysia. 

Dr. Woon also served as an elected member of the Malaysian Dental Council for one term.
